Our Services
Our team is trained to provide the best restorative care for your teeth. We want you to feel comfortable with the process, every step of the way. We're happy to answer all your questions and talk through any concerns.
Tooth Filling
The most common use of tooth fillings is to fill a cavity. But tooth fillings also can be used to repair damage to teeth caused by teeth grinding or to replace part of a broken tooth.
During the dental filling treatment, the damaged tooth material is removed, the area is cleaned, and then the cavity is filled with a tooth filling. This will allow the tooth to operate as it normally would, but pain-free and protected from bacteria.
Before filling cavities, we will numb your teeth, gums and surrounding skin to avoid and lessen discomfort during the procedure. Next, we remove the decay and replace it with a filling material. Once you’re done, your mouth will likely remain numb for a few more hours. There aren’t any significant risks associated with filling cavities but let us know if you have questions or concerns.
Inlays & Onlays
You may have had a cavity filled with a traditional filling. But sometimes the damage to your tooth requires a filling so large that it could weaken the remaining tooth. Restoration has two goals; first prevent further decay and second, bring back your smile. Inlays and onlays are used in situations where the damage to the tooth requires a more extensive approach than a traditional filling.
We will evaluate your damaged tooth to determine the best solution. Then, we’ll explain all the details, so you feel confident with the restoration.
Crowns & Bridges
One of the most common and highly effective solutions for improving imperfections such as a damaged or a missing tooth. The results allow you to chew food easier and help balance your bite while reducing the ability of your existing teeth to shift and catch food in between them.
Dentures & Partials
If you are considering getting dentures, know that you are not alone. Millions of people choose dentures every year. Dentures are one of the most common forms of restorative dentistry to eliminate the pain that comes from problems with your teeth and gums.
We offer a complete range of restoration procedures, including both full dentures and partial dentures—also called a dental bridge. During your appointment, we’ll help you decide which approach will work best for you.
Oral Surgery
Sometimes oral surgery is the best solution for your dental care. Although this may make you nervous, we’re here to put you at ease. We’ll take the time to discuss your concerns and provide you with helpful tips for overcoming dental anxieties, which may include simple things such as a blanket and neck pillow, or more extensive comforts like conscious sedation.
Before your surgery, you’ll receive an individualized plan that outlines pre-appointment measures, details of your procedure, and what to expect for the healing process.
Root Canals
If you’re starting to experience pain at the base of your tooth, a root canal treatment may be needed. The treatment relieves dental pain and alleviates inflammation and infection at the root of your tooth. Root canal treatment is highly successful, and many teeth treated with a root canal can last a lifetime.
Infections can be caused by deep decay, repeated dental procedures on a tooth, and/or large fillings, a crack or chip in the tooth, or trauma to the face. When the infection spreads past the ends of the roots of the tooth, an abscess can occur and cause bone loss, swelling, and draining problems which is why a root canal may be necessary.
A root canal is completed in one or more office visits and sedation is offered to help you relax while we operate.
The Benefits
Tooth restoration is good for your oral health, not simply your appearance. It can help prevent disease and tooth loss. In addition, when you eliminate mouth pain, you’ll be able to improve your eating habits.
Your teeth will look real. Whether you need one tooth repaired or a complete set of dentures, your dentist will be able to match the color and size so your existing teeth and your restored teeth blend together perfectly.
It’s not as painful as you imagine. Our patients sometimes walk in expecting the worst and are pleasantly surprised. We utilize sedation and anesthesia when necessary, so you have as little discomfort as possible.
Dentures can be comfortable. Many people are afraid their dentures will always hurt. Taking the time to make sure your gums heal completely and then making the dentures fit you correctly are two ways we make sure you are happy with the final product.
It’s affordable. Check with your dental insurance policy, most do include some restorative coverage. If you don’t have dental insurance, talk to us about our payment options.
